We always had another venue in mind when we were engaged, but wanted to still look at another option just to compare. We were so glad we did. Whitebarn blew the other one away with everything it had to offer. The owners are amazing, Sue answered all my questions every step of the way, no matter how silly I thought it was. All of the inclusions are amazing and saved us so much extra planning. The food was delicious and there were great options to choose from. The layout is perfect, it felt so spacious even when we had 130 people. We are so glad we booked Whitebarn for our wedding. It was so convenient to not have to leave the venue once you arrive and to be able to do all of your photos there. 11/10 recommendation if you are looking for your perfect venue!”

The business is family run and everyone is comfortable with each other and close knit. She was reassuring me at every step of the planning process, she was there before I walked down the aisle, overseeing the events of the day to make sure it was all going well, and above all a great person to talk to and be around. Her husband drove the limo and was also super friendly. I love her recommendations for vendors that we received at the open day - every single one I chose I am super happy with. Our friends and family couldn’t be happier with how the day went. It was so obvious to me that they all had a great time. I love the small touches Sue adds to the venue, lots had changed since we’d last been to visit a year before our wedding. A highlight was the sparklers in the reception that went off during our first dance. Overall an unforgettable experience that I would choose over and over again. “Me and my husband got married here on 25.02.2023 and what can I say! Our dream wedding was achieved thanks to Sue and her dream team! From the second we enquired about the white barn Sue was so accommodating and helpful. On the lead up to the wedding she was so calming and always made me feel so much better after talking to her. She definitely made us feel like she was not just in it for our money she always went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. We went to one of her open days 6 months before our wedding and if you are getting married here I recommend highly you go to one of these as this was so informative but also gave us so many ideas and met so many vendors which we ended up using. Then along came our wedding day! The minute sue opened the limo door to greet me at the white barn she instantly calmed my nerves as if I was seeing a good friend that I had not seen in a long time. I never thought our day would go without a hitch but our day was literally perfect with no hick ups or bumps and that’s thanks to sue and her amazing team. All her staff were extremely professional and helpful. Sue I can’t Thankyou enough for creating our dream wedding! We have had so many compliments on this beautiful venue! “I had my wedding at the White Barn this past Sunday and it was the most magical day all thanks to Sue and her team! We had a day originally booked as a ceremony and reception however due to Covid we had to change plans. Sue rang me and said we could still come and have our ceremony and then postpone our reception. Of course, this meant having only 5 guests but we were thrilled that we could just have our wedding at our dream venue! For the next 2 weeks Sue helped answere every question I had in a matter or minutes and helped me plan the perfect ceremony along side the White Barns recommended photographer Laurie at 3L photography!! They found the most perfect spots for pictures and made my day run smoothly. My family had the most magical time watching our ceremony and my husband and I can't wait to go back in September 22 for our party!! Thank you Sue and team for making my day magical. If you want a micro wedding, or plan your big wedding for next year I highly recommend the White Barn!! You will not regret it!!”

“Where do I begin ! Sue absolutely saved the day by allowing us to have our wedding at the White Barn on 21/03/21. On the 19/03, we arrived at our original venue in the Hunter Valley to find that it was in a high risk flood area, and that the possibility of having our wedding cancelled for the 20/03 as a result was very real. THANKFULLY, we were able to get in contact with Sue at the White Barn, who was able to amazingly allow us to have our wedding there on 21/03 ! In less than 24 hours, the White Barn were able to turn the place around, and accommodate us on such short notice. Without their amazing service, I don’t know that we would have been able to go ahead with our wedding at all that weekend, and we can’t thank them enough for being so amazing, flexible, accommodating, and understanding of our situation. Additionally, we found the venue itself to be amazing in terms of size, facilities, indoor/outdoor ceremony options, decor, dance floor area, and the list goes on ! 10/10 recommendation !!! ❤️”

“We held our wedding at White Barn on Friday 8th April 2022 and were so happy with our choice. There’s an abundance of venues in the Hunter Valley, but White Barn was right for us. We loved the modern but blank canvas, so we could let our bold florals and decorations shine. A great wet weather option was a must for us and the verandah with matching mini barn doors is just beautiful. We came very close to needing the verandah with flooding the night before, but thankfully the sun (plus rainbow) came out in time for us. Inclusion of limo, peacock chairs, neons and lawn games was very appreciated and saves a lot of money. Another feature often overlooked at venues is the bathrooms, but White Barn has lovely bathrooms including a breastfeeding chair and change table in the disabled toilet. Billy Goat Catering is absolutely phenomenal. Dozens of guests commented on it being the best wedding food they’ve ever eaten. One of our coeliacs even teared up about how amazing the food was, that almost every dish was gluten-free and absolutely delicious – a stark contrast to most catered events. The slow-cooked lamb is the stuff dreams are made of! We hated the idea of only getting to pick a couple of wines which wouldn’t appeal to everyone. Thankfully Sue provides the biggest range of included wines of any venue we looked at. Sue and team have done an amazing job of further developing the grounds since we initially booked our wedding in. The new ‘Love’ sign and rotunda are just gorgeous and were great for photos. Sue gave us a private viewing, poured us a glass of wine and talked us through the entire venue, options and packages. At no time was she pressuring and anything other than polite! Due to the crazy flooding Sue organised a generator out of pocket to ensure we didn't lose power and completely transformed the deck area for our wet weather plan.
